Maddox Elementary has partnered with one area healthcare facility and one church through the Adopt-a-school Program with the Association for Excellence in Education.  These adopters provide opportunities for the students and faculty to be successful at Maddox.  Services they provide include monetary gifts to be used as student incentives, treats for teachers, and personal time given by their employees and members.  These volunteers read to students, help with school events such as reading and science fairs, festivals, etc.  Lastly, the AEE adopters work with the school on a yearly community project such as raising money for needy charities.  Maddox is proud to be partnered with AEE and the Adopt-a-school program.  The faculty, staff, and students of Maddox extend a huge "thank you" to our long-time adopters, Jefferson Medical Association and First-Trinity Presbyterian Church.
