Laurel High School Vocational School had their fall Craft Advisory Committee meetings for 2006-2007 on Monday, October 16. Each department of the vocational program met with business leaders and other educators to share ideas as well as accomplishments. The purpose of the Craft Advisory Committee is to help business leaders be aware of the many exciting educational opportunities in which our students are participating. It is also an opportunity for the teachers and administration to discover what skills are most needed in the workplace or in higher education. Pictured is the advisory committee for the LHS Business, Computer, and Technology class which is taught by Mrs. Devon Malone Sellers.

The committee members pictured include Dr. Stephen C. Bushardt, University of Southern Mississippi; Jennifer M. McDonald, Dunn Roadbuilders; Leslie Dean, Manpower; Beverly Ulmer, Masonite Corporation; Dr. Cheryl Dale, William Carey University; and Willie Lavonne Evans, Councilwoman for the City of Laurel.
