In honor of November being American Diabetes Month, the Laurel High School Interact and HOSA clubs sponsored a free school wide and community diabetes screening in conjunction with South Central Regional Medical Center in the lobby of the school. Each person screened had their name placed in a drawing for a $100 grand prize, $50.00 second prize, $25.00 third prize and $25.00 fourth prize.
South Central Regional Medical Center is an AEE (Association for Excellence in Education) Adopter for LHS HOSA.
