Tornado novice forensics team brings home wins

The Laurel High School Novice Speech Team attended their first tournament Saturday, Sept. 6, at Laurel Christian School. The 17 novice team members attended and competed against over 150 other competitors with four LHS students making finals. Laurel’s winners were: April Ulmer, seventh in prose; Ben Willis, sixth in declamation; Daryl McKinnis, fourth in declamation and Dustin Adcock, third in poetry. |
