LHS: Homecoming queen participates in parade

Laurel High School’s 2009-10 Homecoming Queen Crystal Dukes participated in the annual Sertoma Christmas Parade in Laurel. Dukes rode the parade route in a 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass SX that was driven by Patrick Robinson, who is a member of the Magnolia Cruisers and also works as the technology coordinator for the Laurel School District. Dukes is the daughter is Lisa Cook and Rudolph Dukes. She has been a member of the LHS band and choir since her freshman year. Following graduation, Dukes plans to attend Mott Community College in Flint, Michigan, where she will major in massage therapy and business management. Following graduation from MCC, she plans to attend Michigan State University. |
