Oak Park Holds Family Reading Night

Oak Park Magnet/Elementary School held a Family Reading Night recently. All parents were invited, with students from each grade level reading aloud a portion of a book to the audience. Door prizes were also given out.
The school plans to hold another Family Reading Night on Thursday, December 14th. The program will feature Oak Park 4th – 6th grade principal, Ms. Elaine Read, reading the story, “The Night Before Christmas.” The group will also sing Christmas Carols together with Mr. Jaymar Jackson, k-4 through 3rd grade principal.
