American Heart Association's Heart Walk

Recently Mrs. Rivers' homeroom participated in a school-wide fundraiser for the American Heart Association's Heart Walk.  Students could buy red links for $.25 each with all the money going to the American Heart Association. Mrs. Rivers' class bought 415 links raising $103.75!  Mrs. Rivers' 20 yr old daughter, Kayci, suffers from heart disease and the class chose to do this in her honor.  They are very proud of their accomplishment and hope a cure will be found soon.
