Stainton Elementary is pleased to announce their Write Flight winners for the month of September.
The winners are; Kindergarten, D’Arius Milsap, 1st Grade, Sha Cori Ruffin, 2nd Grade, Nakiyah Jordan, 3rd Grade, Ricardo Oropeza, 4th Grade, Anna Morgan, 5th Grade, Sylvashia McDonald, 6th Grade, Ronald Warbington.
At Stainton, a writing contest is held every month, and each teacher selects three writings from her classroom to enter. The selected students’ writings are judged on each grade level, and one student is chosen as the winner from each grade.
The winning Write Flight students receive t-shirts and other rewards. In addition their work is posted on a bulletin board at Stainton for all of the other students and teachers to read. |
