 Welcome back parents, students, stakeholders, teachers, paraprofessionals and staff members to a year of new beginnings and greatness. Words cannot express the excitement felt as a leader of this educational organization. The time has come for us to embark upon a fresh start through teaching and learning. It is my hope that your summer was filled with fun, laughter, love, excellent health and rest. “We Will Win” by leading with our hearts, working together as a team, and using data to keep us on track academically. Oak Park will make strives like never before through effective teaching and student academic achievements.
Oak Park Elementary, “The Oasis of Teaching and Learning,” has a rich heritage that is known and embraced throughout the world. As quoted by Ursula K. Leguin, “it is good to have an end to journey toward, but it is the journey that matters in the end.” As principal of this historical gem, my task is to ensure we win with love, sharing, support, trust, passion, determination, well managed and highly engaged classrooms, professional development opportunities, fun, and most of all a clear vision for the future. We are extremely proud of our dedicated teachers, outstanding students and supportive families. Oak Park is known for its high expectations provided through safety, caring, nurturing, welcoming environment, and its program for academic excellence. We will continue to provide our students with a paramount education, making it second to none. Together, with your helping hand, we will make a positive difference in the lives of our today’s learners and tomorrow’s leaders.
