Assistant Principal

Valid AA Mississippi Educator’s License with the following endorsements:  486; and either 115, 116, 117, 152, etc.; Experience as a Principal or Assistant Principal preferred. Minimum of 5 years teaching experience required. Applicant must be knowledgeable of current literature associated with teaching students to read, must have a working knowledge of supervisory strategies for teachers and a vision for successful students and elementary school. 

Elementary School Principal 

Valid AA Mississippi Educator’s License with the following endorsements:  486; and either 115, 116, 117 or 152; Experience as a Principal or Assistant Principal preferred. Minimum of 5 years teaching experience required. Applicant must be knowledgeable of current literature associated with teaching students to read,  must have a working knowledge of supervisory strategies for teachers and a vision for successful students and elementary school. Start date is July 1, 2018.

 

Secondary Science Teachers (7-12) 

Qualified applicants must have a valid MS Educator’s License with an endorsement for the position.

Secondary Social Studies (7-12)

Qualified applicants must have a valid MS Educator’s License with an endorsement for the position.

Secondary English Teachers (7-12)

Qualified applicants must have a valid MS Educator’s License with an endorsement for the position.

Secondary Math Teachers (7-12)

Qualified applicants must have a valid MS Educator’s License with an endorsement for the position.

Elementary Inclusion Teacher (K-5)

Qualified applicants must have a valid MS Educator’s License with an endorsement for the position.

Middle School Inclusion Teacher (6-12)

Qualified applicants must have a valid MS Educator’s License with an endorsement for the position

Speech Pathologist

Qualified applicants must have a valid MS Educator’s License with 215 endorsement.

Part-time Speech Pathologist/Therapist

This is a part-time contractual position two days a week. Qualified applicants must have a valid MS Educator’s License with 215 or 216 endorsement.

Elementary Education (K-6)

Qualified applicants must have a valid MS Educator’s License with an endorsement for the position.

Elementary Media Specialist

Qualified applicants must have a valid MS Educator’s License with an endorsement for the position.

Secondary Media Specialist

Qualified applicants must have a valid MS Educator’s License with an endorsement for the position.

Family Consumer Science (Career Technical Education)

Qualified applicants must have a valid MS Educator’s License with an endorsement for the position. 

Culinary Arts (Career Technical Education)

Qualified applicants must have a valid MS Educator’s License with an endorsement for the position.

Health Sciences (Career Technical Education)

Qualified applicants must have a valid MS Educator’s License with an endorsement for the position.

High School Principal

Valid AA Mississippi Educator’s License which includes the following endorsement: 486. Experience as a Principal or Assistant Principal preferred. Minimum of 5 years teaching experience required. Applicant must be knowledgeable of current literature, must have a working knowledge of supervisory strategies for teachers and a vision for a successful school and its students. Bus Drivers

Applicants must have a valid Commercial Driver’s License with necessary add-ons.

Technology Director

Bachelor’s degree in a field appropriate for this position. (Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or other equivalent disciplines) Minimum 3 years of experience as a Technology Director preferred. Applicant must have strong understanding and experience setting up, configuring and managing network components. Must have strong understanding for setup and operation of various data operation systems. Knowledge of classroom technology (SmartBoards, clickers, projectors, etc.), a strong plus. Knowledge of student data systems (SAM Spectra), a strong plus. Highly organized with strong project management skills, and drive to meet organizational and departmental objectives. Start date is July 1, 2018.

Special Education Teacher Assistant

This is a position working with an elementary self-contained class.
