JobDescription 

Interventionist (Laurel Middle School)

Qualified applicants must have a valid MS Educator’s License with endorsements in Elementary Education 4 – 6; Reading K – 12; or related endorsements and an application on file for the position applying for. A minimum of three (3) years of successful teaching experience at the elementary or middle school level is preferred. Salary will be based on certification, experience and district salary scale. The start date for this position is August 1, 2018.

Elementary Art Teacher

Qualified applicants must have a valid MS Educator’s License with an endorsement for the position.

 

Secondary Science Teachers (7-12) 

Qualified applicants must have a valid MS Educator’s License with an endorsement for the position.

Secondary English Teachers (7-12)

Qualified applicants must have a valid MS Educator’s License with an endorsement for the position.

Secondary Math Teachers (7-12)

Qualified applicants must have a valid MS Educator’s License with an endorsement for the position.

Speech Pathologist

Qualified applicants must have a valid MS Educator’s License with 215 endorsement.

Elementary Education (K-6)

Qualified applicants must have a valid MS Educator’s License with an endorsement for the position.

JobDescription

English Language Tutor/ Interpreter

Qualified applicants must be fluent in Spanish and English. Salary will be based on applicant’s experience and expertise with the subject matter. Painter - part-time

Applicants with prior experience are preferred. Applicants must be able to multi-task, work closely with others, and have strong organizational skills that will allow them to work without direct supervision. Salary will be based on previous experience. 

Child Nutrition Production Staff

The Laurel School District Child Nutrition Department will be accepting applications for child nutrition production staff members through July 6, 2018. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent.  Prior child nutrition production experience is preferred. Each applicant must be prepared to pass a general math examination and a food safety and sanitation service examination. Candidates selected for interviews will be notified by telephone. Applications should be submitted to Laurel School District Personnel Office at 303 West Eighth Street, Laurel, MS 39440. 

Bus Drivers

Applicants must have a valid Commercial Driver’s License with necessary add-ons.
