George Adam Carmichael signs with Tougaloo College

Laurel High School baseball standout George Adam Carmichael signed a letter of intent with Tougaloo College. Carmichael is an active member of Key Club and was named to Future Leaders of Jones County and the National Honor Society. Carmichael is a Superintendent’s List Scholar and Mississippi Scholar with a 3.9 grade point average. He was named Most Outstanding Baseball Player. He plans to major in political science and minor in criminal justice with a goal of one day working for the FBI.
