Laurel Career and Technical Center students place tops at national competition

The Laurel High School Career and Technical Center Child Care students placed first in the National Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) competition in life event planning. The students captured the opportunity to compete at nationals when they won first place in the Mississippi FCCLA competition. The national competition was held in Nashville, Tennessee. The first place winners were (from left) Erica Williams, Aaliyah Scott and Zaria Nixon.
