At the group’s final competition of the season in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, Harmony Thomas, Jordan Hardy and Xavier Washington were each awarded Outstanding Performer and the group was recognized for outstanding choreography along with their first place finish in the middle school division.

Earlier in the competition season, the group received third place at the South Jones Invitational, second place, Best Overall Show Design and Outstanding Female Performer at the Mississippi Show Choir Contest, second place and Spirit of Show Choir Award at the Purvis Invitational, second place and Spirit of Show Choir Award at the West Jones Invitational and third place at the Petal Invitational.

For their routine, the group performed choreography and songs including, “Headstrong,” “This is My Fight Song,” “Hit Me with Your Best Shot,” “Fight for Your Right to Party,” and “Drag me Down.”

“This year 16 of our 28 members where new to the INSYNC show choir,” said Show Choir Director Shelley Rivers. “Our successful year is a testament to how hard this group of young performers worked to be their best.”
