Students take home top prizes in Multiplication Challenge

The Laurel School District hosted a Multiplication Challenge where teams from each of the district’s four elementary schools competed in a series of one-minute worksheet exercises and a quick-answer callout. Winners were awarded for the top team and the top individual in fourth and fifth grades. Following the awards ceremony the students enjoyed lunch with the superintendent.

The overall individual winners for the Laurel School District Multiplication Challenge are fourth grader Nijelin Nichols from Nora Davis Magnet School and fourth grader Jaden Vaughn from Oak Park Elementary School
