Mississippi schools are raising expectations for student achievement.
The Mississippi Department of Education has announced changes to the state’s accountability model, including increased accountability standards, a new testing baseline, and a 15-point increase in the performance required for school ratings.
Laurel School District is committed to keeping our parents, employees, and community informed as these changes are implemented. We remain focused on equipping our students with the knowledge, skills, and support they need while continuing to move our schools in the right direction.
