The Army National Guard recently sponsored an equipment trailer for the Laurel High School athletic programs. The trailer will be utilized to carry equipment to away games.

“Laurel High School is one of the schools we recruit at,” said Sergeant Ken Knight with the Army National Guard Recruitment Battalion. “It is a great way to get exposure in the sports community and at the school.”

Knight expressed the importance of being a part of the community and giving insight to students on what the National Guard has to offer in the way of opportunities.

“We are thankful for Sergeant Knight and the work he does at Laurel High School,” said Athletic Director Todd Breland. “This generous donation will provide us much needed space for equipment and put a spotlight on the Army National Guard.”
