Mississippi Educational Scholarship
The Mississippi Educational Scholarship was enacted in 2015 and provides an opportunity for parents of children with disabilities to receive money to help defray the cost of private school tuition or other specific allowable expenses to educate their child. The ESA program was created by the Equal Opportunity for Students with Special Needs Miss. Code Ann. §§ 37-181-1 et. seq. Exceptional Education Office Request for Proposals (RFP) For Student and Staff Services
The Laurel School District’s Exceptional Education Office is accepting proposals for the 2021-2022 school year for the following services: Occupational Therapy services; Physical Therapy services; Psychological services; and Consultative services for students with disabilities and special education staff. The purpose of this RFP is to provide a fair evaluation for all candidates. The Laurel School District’s Exceptional Education Office will negotiate contract terms upon selection. All contracts are subject to review and applicable projects will be awarded upon the signing of an agreement or contract, which outlines terms, scope, budget and other necessary items.
