Laurel High School basketball standout Mackenzie Thomas signed a letter of intent with Jones College. Thomas was named to the Mississippi/Alabama All-Star game and received All-District honors. She was also awarded for most rebounds, most points and most steals. Last season, she averaged 21 points a game and 7 rebounds. She plans to major in engineering.
