All schools in the Laurel School District will transition from Hybrid to Traditional beginning Monday, October 26, 2020, with all students attending every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at the elementary schools and middle school.

Wednesdays at the elementary schools and middle school will still be reserved for small groups, deep cleaning, and virtual learning for both traditional and online students.

High school students will attend regular schedule on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and Wednesday being an abbreviated day, dismissing at 1:15 pm.

All COVID-19 prevention measures will remain in place, including masks and temperature checks.

Due to the extensive number of virtual only students who are failing to complete their work and engage in the online instruction, the Virtual Only option will continue only for those students who have met the following three requirements.

1. Good virtual attendance

2. High engagement

3. Passing grades

Students who do not meet those three requirements must return to traditional unless they have a doctor’s excuse that requires the student remain at home.

Deadline to change learning modes is October 19, 2020. Please contact your child’s school with questions.
