Out of 73 students from around the state, 10 were recently selected as semifinalists for the Mississippi State Board of Education Student Representative Program, and Laurel High School student Micah Hill is one of those semifinalists. Hill will participate in an interview this summer, where the State Board of Education will name up to four finalists, and one rising junior who will serve as a student representative to the State Board of Education.
