The Child Nutrition Department of the Laurel School District had the privilege of attending the 2023 Mississippi School Nutrition Association (MSNA) Conference, and it was an enriching experience for our team.
The conference provided them with valuable training and insights that will enhance the nutritional offerings in our school cafeterias. While attending the conference our Child Nutrition team participated in classes such as Red Book, Kitchen Do's and Don't, The Culinary Math Made Easy, and Progressive Discipline.
We are excited to announce that a new recipe, Taco Pizza, will be introduced in the cafeterias in December. It will be a delightful addition to our menu.
We look forward to continuing to provide nutritious and delicious meals for our students while ensuring their well-being and satisfaction.
