The Laurel School District was proudly recognized at the 2025 United Way Annual Meeting for its continued commitment to service, generosity, and community support.

The district was honored as a 2025 Pacesetter Company, reflecting early leadership and participation in the annual United Way campaign. In addition, the Laurel School District received multiple recognitions in the 2025 Campaign Awards, including the prestigious Diamond Award and an Innovation Award.

Special recognition was also given to Laurel Magnet School of the Arts, which was awarded the Spirit of Giving Trophy for outstanding participation and enthusiasm throughout the campaign. The district, along with Golden Pages, was further recognized as a 2025 Prancer Path winner and received the Best School Spirit Award.

These honors reflect the collective efforts of Laurel School District students and staff, who made donations earlier this school year to support nonprofit organizations serving individuals and families across the area. Their generosity demonstrates the district’s commitment to giving back and making a positive impact beyond the classroom.

The Laurel School District is grateful for the opportunity to partner with United Way and remains proud of its schools, staff, and students for their continued dedication to serving the community.
