The Laurel School District invites the community to come out and support one of its talented student teams as Laurel High School EF5 Chaos #9503 competes in the FIRST Robotics Competition, taking place at the Magnolia Center in Laurel, Mississippi.
The competition will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026, and Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. This exciting event will bring together robotics teams from across the region to participate in a series of competitive matches that highlight engineering, innovation, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
The LHS EF5 Chaos team, made up of Laurel School District students, has spent countless hours designing, building, and programming their robot in preparation for this competition. The event provides students with valuable hands-on experience in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics while encouraging collaboration and creativity.
Community members are invited to attend the competition at any time throughout the two-day event to watch the matches and cheer on the teams. Spectators will have the opportunity to see robotics in action and support students who are demonstrating the skills that prepare them for future careers in technology and engineering.
