Laurel School District will implement an early dismissal on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, due to the potential for severe weather in the area. The decision was made to ensure the safety and well-being of all students and staff.

The dismissal schedule is as follows:

Nora Davis Elementary School will dismiss at 12:45 p.m.
Oak Park Elementary School will dismiss at 12:55 p.m.
Laurel Magnet School of the Arts will dismiss at 1:00 p.m.
Laurel Upper Elementary School will dismiss at 1:10 p.m.
Laurel Middle School will dismiss at 1:40 p.m.
Laurel High School will dismiss at 1:50 p.m.
Laurel Educational Center will dismiss at 12:00 p.m.

All after-school activities scheduled for Wednesday have been cancelled.
