Nora Davis Elementary School Principal

Greetings Parents and members of the Nora Davis Community!

I am extremely excited to begin a new school year and serve as the principal of Nora Davis Elementary.

I am truly honored to serve Nora Davis, which is known for its long history and sustained culture of academic excellence. As I embark upon this great opportunity to serve, I am committed to helping build upon the legacy of success. Most importantly, I am looking forward to working hard in collaboration with the exceptional students, supportive parents, and dedicated staff to nurture the academic, social, and emotional development of each student.

I have twenty-three years of K-8 educational experience having worked in New Orleans serving in the Non-Profit sector, Gwinnett County Public Schools (Georgia), Rockdale County Public Schools (Georgia), Jefferson Davis County Schools and Hattiesburg Public Schools where I have served as a classroom teacher, Grade Level Chair, Social Studies Department Chair, Mentor Teacher, Director of Early Learning Services and Assistant Principal. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Southern Mississippi, a Master’s degree in Mild/Moderate Disabilities from William Carey University, as well as a Specialist and Doctorate degree in Educational Leadership from Argosy University.

As we continue to encourage families to be partners in the educational process, please know that my door will always be open. As the saying goes, “it takes a village to raise a child.” I am delighted to be part of this exceptional village and I am fully committed to continue to serve the students and families of the Laurel School District.

I am looking forward to an exceptional year.
