After-School Assistance: Our assistance includes helping students with homework assignments and other projects.  Parent or responsible adult must accompany child to the center & remain with child.

AR Leveled Books: Books are color coded & avail­able to assist students achieve their AR goals. Books must be read while at the Parent Center.

Computers: There are eight internet con­nected computers that can be used to complete assignments, job searches, online classes, etc.

Reading Fair Board Assistance: Letter cutting machine and preprinted story elements are available.

Lamination & Copier: For those documents that you would like to preserve, we have lamination of one-page documents, and a copy machine to make copies of important documents.

Practical Parenting Family Sessions: Six one-hour family sessions are scheduled throughout the year. Topics may include: Understanding Your Role as a Parent, Resolving Homework Issues, Communication within the Family, Grandparents Raising Grandchildren, Building Self-esteem within the Family, etc. Sessions include handouts & quick-tips. All members of the family are invited to attend. A schedule is available at the Parent Center.
